Richard M. O'Bryan is a retired officer from the US Marine Corps as well as a retired high school history teacher. He currently is a motivational and inspirational speaker living in western Pennsylvania. O'Bryan and his wife, Karen, have been married for twenty-five years.

An absolute must read!

Josh and Me, How Hard Can it Be is a humorous, heartwarming book about friendship written by a good friend I have known for a quarter of a century, since he ran the special attention area, aka The Rubber Room, at my school. The stories are told in an anecdotal manner about the misadventures of Josh and EJ, the latter being the one telling the stories in the first person. My personal favorite is the George and Martha Washington story. Not only do I recommend reading this book, but also recommend promoting it to other people, like at your church. If you are looking for a book about friendship in today's world where everything seems to be going awry, this is the one.

An outstanding book by a wonderful storyteller

I recommend this book to anyone who loves a wonderful wholesome tale that will make you laugh out loud. Mr. O'Bryan spins an exciting story that makes you close your eyes and remember the innocence of youth. No matter where you come from, everyone can relate to a hometown like Jasperwitch and a best friend like Josh. You will laugh out loud and have a lump in your throat at the tear jerking ending. This is definitely a MUST READ!!!!

I really enjoyed reading this book! It was one of those books that you just could not put down! It was refreshing to read a wholesome, family oriented book. We can all relate to the characters and whille reading they will take u on a trip back to your own childhood! Thank you for writing such a wonderful book!
